| Degree Requirements: HP and Research Core
The Master of Education in Health Promotion requires a minimum of 36 credit hours with 12 of those hours coming from one of the following areas of concentration: administration, communication, counseling, education, environmental health, gerontology, nutrition and fitness, or interdisciplinary. The core curriculum for the M.Ed. in Health Promotion, which everyone must take, consists of the following:
